About

Born in 2013, Cody Ferris is designed and created by KT Carney in San Francisco. An east coast transplant building roots on the west coast, KT has been making jewelry since she was a child. After studying sculpture and jewelry in college, KT decided to set up a studio to get back to metalwork. Cody Ferris is the result of experiments with asymmetrical shapes and movement as inspired by large scale sculpture, but wearable enough for everyday. All items are hand sawed and finished, embracing the wabi sabi imperfect results of hand making.

Additional jewelry information

Brass is often left unpolished to show the beautiful natural patina as you wear it.  All metal is waxed to seal, but over time will wear off.  Due to the nature of the materials, natural patinas and oxidation may change the color of your jewelry.  The best way to store your jewelry is in a ziploc bag to prevent further oxidation.

Acrylic is durable but prone to scratches.  Mild soap and water with soft cloth can be used to clean any spots from the acrylic, but do not use abrasive materials.

Behind the name

Cody Ferris is taken from the names of KT's pugs - Cody and Ferris Bueller.
